meet the midwife

Hi! I’m Danielle McEntee, CPM, LM, and I’ve been active in the birth community for more than 13 years, beginning my journey as a childbirth educator, birth photographer and doula after two of my own beautiful life-changing home births. I stepped into midwifery in January 2021, beginning with home births and expanding into  full-time work as a midwife at a birth center for 2 years. Recently I transitioned into working with other home birth midwives around the Gallatin Valley, and am now taking on a small handful of primary clients alongside my team. My amazing husband, who has been by my side for 20 years, runs all the behind-the-scenes paperwork, and administrative work so I can spend more individual time with my mamas. You might even see my thirteen year old daughter tagging along, scoping out the career path she too hopes to follow. I have attended over 100 births, and honestly, the beauty of this calling never ceases to amaze me.

on a personal level….

I love women. I love birth. I love being alongside women in their journey towards motherhood. I have three incredible daughters of my own, and I understand that the holiness, and power of birth is an unmatched experience that women ought to enjoy, and be proud to claim. I am looking forward to the pleasure of joining you on this adventure!
